home made bending of the panel between the rear crossmember and tail panel.  :bananasmi  Basically it's a long "L" shaped beam.

Amazing to see it come back to life.  My convertible is in horrible shape. I am starting to recieve my AMD metal this week.  Perhaps mine will begin to look like a car again in a year or so.  Congrats on the outstanding progress.

Awesome dood!

Curious, but after butt welding the quarters and grinding down the welds, did you lead over them or duraglass?

I hear either will work fine.

I use  fiberglass filler  (I guess "duraglas"s is one of it) wherever I need to smooth welds.  It's stronger and more flexible than traditional bondo.

The car is turning out very nice but the picture below worries me.  You need to get some more space between those jacstands.

Just curious, but does your buildsheet show M71 for front colored bumper?

yes, it does.

Cool.  When I got my 'Cuda, it didn't have the rubber bumper and A21 was super faint on the BS, but clearly shows M71.

Tanks!
