charcoal cannister hose clamps

Anyone have a picture of the clamps used to connect the 3 hoses to the cannister?And are the same kind used for the 2 connectios to the carb?Thanks

Only two of the canister lines are clamped.  Here is what it should look like.


The middle clamp is the same style that is used back at the tank to connect the four vapor lines to the vapor separator.  That clamp is probably also used on the sending unit too.

The origonal center hose that comes off the canister on my car still has the "KV" stamps visable on it.  I think one of the rear hoses does too.

I think the other clamp in the picture is the style that is used on the fuel filter hoses.  At least that is the style that comes with new fuel filters.

I just inspected mine & the center line is as burdar describes but the large outer line shows no sign of ever having had a clamp on either end, I'm missing the OE smaller hose but to the best of my recollection there was no clamp on either end...A tidbit I just recalled is that these two hoses were held together by an approx. 1/2" wide piece of black tape just over the valve cover. The tape had the appearance of electrical tape but was not as flexible, that may have been from the heat it had been exposed to.  I don't recall that my '73 had the black strap on the inner fender with the small hose passing through as in the pic.

Wade, that pic was just one that I had available during the day.  I still need to look at pics of my car to see if can see anything different.  I thought I remembered there being two clamps but that may not be the case.  My engine compartment pics should show the presence of (or lack there of) that extra plastic strap.
