driprail clips

What the heck are those little black rubber dipped clips for that attach where the moulding curves at the front? .Do they fit between the rubber and the moulding?Lastly what to redip them in?

very few cars seem to have them , is yours a 74 ?
the clip is between the drip rail & the window seal channel I think

Sorry,no pictures.Its a 73,and i think you are right on the placement Chryco.I can see the marks on the channel where it was attached.Still cant figure out what they are for.

Mine goes trim-clip-rubber...i guess it's to position the glass to fit against the rubber properly.
  I'd use Plasti-Dip to coat anything of that nature.

My 72 has 1 clip on each side as well.  I was going to try it with and without them

That makes sense on the window positioning and a good tip on the Plasti Dip.
