What was wrong with the 73??
...I owned it for 2 years, it never ran right from the second it was unloaded off the transporter...electrical issues, ignition problems over and over and over...had several carbs installed by the dealer, never would idle...turn on the A/C and it was like turning off the key...it would die in traffic 100 times a day if you continued to restart it all the time...spent many really hot days in San Antonio sitting at stoplights with the windows rolled up waiting for the light to turn green and restart the Cuda...I think the car truly was a Lemon
...it seemed cursed too, but that was a different story...it was rear ended the first day I owned it, a tree fell on it a few months later and crushed the roof while parked in my driveway, it was hit hard several times while parked on the street, it finally drowned in sewage while being driven by the next owner...I believe it was Christines son...last time I saw the car (1977-78) it was rusted all the way up to the side marker lights all the way around...the pix I posted was taken a few hours after delivery (dealers tags)...it surely was ( I hope) turned into Pepsi cans 30 years ago...I loved the car, but it sucked to own it
I just bought a 71 Challenger, 340 AT, Sassy/wh for near what they are asking for the 73 Cuda...far more potential for appreciation down the road... unless you are just hooked on a 73 Cuda, keep shopping, better deals are out there
