if the stud comes thru a standard open lug nut they are long enuff.

I gotta get longer ones too! Aftermarket rims only leave me with 1/2" of thread....
anyone have any Dorman( or anyone elses?) part #'s for longer studs that fit? I need them to be 1/4" longer minimum?

I don't think you can get them longer from Dorman.  I don't see why you couldn't buy the MP or Moroso studs and just cut them down.

I just orderd Papco wheel nuts/studs
rear   part# 560-287   1/2-20x 1 29/32  .667 knurl dia.
front part#  560-441   1/2-20 x 2 3/16 .623 knurl dia
 I measured the
rear stud hole size as .650"  flange thickness as .450"
front stud hole size as .600" rotor flange thickness .700" ( 79 St Regis rotors)
I'll let you all know how it works out!

Got the rear studs today. They were not exactly a "bolt in" the knurled dia was too long , and I had to turn then down and thread them, but it all worked out great in the end! I'm blessed to have a lathe and mill in the garage, comes in very handy!

First picture is from left to right, stock stud then the 560-287 Papco stud as purchased, then turned down, then threaded. I made a big rad on the lathe tool so as to give them maximum strength.
Second picture is installed studs with one stock stud for comparison
