First things first...I had the same thing happen in Christine the very first night she was out...Dude came up and looked her over  and over, then hits me with the "Dude, you gotta sell me this car!!" crap...I told him my usual thing and he walked away never said anything...Came back about 15 Min. later with the same 'ol song and dance...Kept asking me to sell and to "Throw out a price"...
I had finally begun to get a little annoyed. I told him I really didn't want to sell right now. He tells me "Well, everythings for sale at some point"...I told him "yes, and fine, today isn't that point..You want to buy the attention this things getting tonight, NOT the car..I know where this thing will be in a week when your tired of it and it ceases to bring you that "High" of owning a new toy..Then, you'll reallize that you spent too much on it when NO one on Evil Bay will even come close to what you bought it for, let alone let you make a little on it..."

If you wanna sell, sell it... But remember, when the money's all gone, so is the car......

If your attached...take it and buy something you always wanted. I always wanted a GTX - with 50K I could buy a burned out hemi or a rightous 440

But like everyone else - I say it comes down to sentimental versus hard cash. I loved my first resto (65 Galaxie 5000 Convertible) but it didn't compare to the 6k I sold it for (20 years ago gang..It would take lot more in todays dollars).

You just got to figure our how attached you are to your car. 50K will give a nice down payment on a nice house and a little left over to begin the journey again

I'd sell in a heart beat but that is just me.  I've had enough of these cars that emotions don't get involved anymore, I've learned there's always another one.  I only  "regret" selling two of my cars.  One because it was an AAR and I doubt I'll ever be able to afford another one and the other because the money I got for the car was "invested" in a failed business and it was the business failure I regret the most not the actual selling of the car...

Another reason I say sell it - being Debt-Free is PRICELESS!  You cannot put a dollar value on the freedom and piece of mind you get from owing nobody a dime!
