I have a 1974 cuda that has a plastic coolant overflow recovery tank, that is mounted near the radiator.
There are 2 hoses attached to the cap at the top of the tank, one which is the overflow line to the plastic tank, and the other is the return line to the radiator (I would guess).
My question is, when I cut the two hoses that attach to the radiator, should both hoses extend to the BOTTOM OF THE TANK?? Or should the return hose go to the bottom of the tank, and the overflow line extend just to the inside of the plastic cap at the top of the tank?
Thanks for the help.
