Need help ID'ing wires
« on: May 26, 2010 - 10:22:46 PM »
I got my engine back in and rewired it. I had rebuilt the steering column while it was out and put it back in tonight. I was left with a 3 wire plug that has a purple/yellow/green wire. What are they for...key buzzer/door buzzer????

Does it look like this?
If so, its part of the turn signal switch our cars don't use.

A pic of the plug might help here.

I'm guessing that connector only exists on the 71-74 turn signal switch?   :dunno:

This is the first I have seen of it.

Mike, thats on the new replacement switches (TW7). Its for the extra lights some cars have up front. Since none of our cars have those lights we don't hook them to anything.
