Spark Plug Wire Routes
« on: May 27, 2010 - 01:48:35 AM »
Can you all post some pics of your engine bay with cleaned up wiring on a 440?  Can you also say what plug wires you have and how you are securing everything down if it is not evident in the photo?  Thank you for your help!

This is the best I have on my computer now. I used wire looms from Summit Racing. It works great in trying to feed the wires thru the headers.

Those both look really good!  Thanks.
MEK-what is that just behind the starter relay?
71Plym-What is that throttle setup you are using?

I am using both Lokar throttle cable and kick down cable.

You have a great set of eyes.

That is a fuse holder for an after-market amplifier I have in my trunk. I have an after-market radio setup, so I need more power from the system to hear over the exhaust.  To be honest, most times I just listen to the exhaust.   :naughty:

It depends on the headers, but I usually run wires 7 & 8 under the intake and around from the back.

I am using the moroso spiral cores and there are a few that are really long and some that are just really short.  What I have will work, but in the future, when I want to clean it up a bit, it looks like some custom wires will be required.  I am running the 2" TTI's and think that I might need a combo of angles and straight plug boots.
