four season valve?
« on: May 28, 2010 - 04:03:32 PM »
I'm looking for some information/photos of the four season valve.  Is it's purpose to shut down the heater in the summer?  Dose it divert the heater hose from going to the firewall.  Any info on where I can get one?  I have a 340 challenger 1972.

Are you talking about the water valve?  It was used on A/C cars only.  It blocked the flow of hot coolant into the heaterbox when the heat was turned off.  There are a few listed on e-bay.  I'm not sure which one is correct for your car.  This one says it's for a 72 C-body.  You can google "mopar water valve" for a large list of them for sale.

That's exactly what I was looking for.  My assumtion was that it went in line to block the hot water from entering the car.  My heater controls have been stripped and the car is hotter than heck now that the weathers warming up.  Thanks.....
