No, but there has been a lot of talk of this type of problem on Moparts, there is a whole thread stickied on the General section about the problems people have been having on that site.
It is thought to be coming from something to do with a Google ad that appears on the bottom of the page.
I use firefox with adblock and never have had any issues so far (Fingers crossed!).

I use IE too.  But oddly enough I have quit having problems this week.  No problems at all now.  Must have gotten fixed

Every time a go to a different page my virus alert is going crazy.  Anyone know whats going on. :villagers:

I ran into this within the last week.  Seemed related to a link I took from this site to a site selling cars I'd not seen before.  After cruising around on that site my system was nailing me with virus warnings and was asking if I wanted to activate my virus software...  I eventually had issues getting to the web.

I ignored the warnings and found a file that had been loaded onto my machine that was the cause.  I simply deleted it and everything went away.

I believe it was a ploy by a software company to get me to buy their anti-virus s/w...  there were links on some of the messages popping up to update to a new anti-virus.

My system runs Vista... don't know if that matters...
