    It looks slightly brighter, and a little more purplely.     :2cents:

    It is really hard to tell shades of colors in photographs, but it does look like a darker shade of purple to me.

    Are those both of the same car?  I wouldn't trust the indoor shot.  The camera can do some funny things when you take a picture of a car inside while standing outside.

    When sitting next to this one on EBAY it looks different. the one on EBAY looks more like the right color?

    Here we go. Always judge a vehicles true color in the sunlight. Forget the indoor shot. I want to ask you a question - just to HELP. What is your concern about the color issue? Are you buying the car and you want it 100% correct? It doesn't look far off to me. Pictures are very deceiving.

    I don't want it too look to obvious when you walk up to it and say--wow--is that supposed to be Plum Crazy Purple????  I don't want a "why did he do THAT" kind of car.... If it's REALLY close I would be OK, but the EBAY link I posted looks different--and possibly more correct.

    I don't blame you at all. Maybe he just purchased a bad mix at the paint store. Too light to dark happens all of the time. Ask him straight up and tell him your concern.

    I had some nightmares back in the collision days. Nothing like a bad match. It's nice to have it PERFECT every time but the world isn't perfect.

    I know that...did you, by chance, look at the EBAY link a few posts up?? That one seems to be less purple. Was that closer to "correct"
