Back in 78' or 79' I went to E & H wreckers out in Milpitas.
They were at the time, the biggest Mopar wreckers. Saw alot of good stuff go thru there back then.

One day, I found a 70' Cuda with a Hounds Tooth headliner in excellent condition.

My car being a 71' Gran Coupe was having serious headliner/cardboard issues as the material was draping down in my rear view mirror.

I removed it and had Bascom Upholstry re-install it into my car.

Today, I peeled it off the rear sail panel and this is what I found.
Many years gone by since then.

Found this on the back of the glovebox in my 71 cuda. Not sure what it says

I don't have a picture, but i saw a challenger in a junkyard and the top of the inside of the door had "no top bolt" written in white.

My PS door has something written on it too.  It's in white but it's too faint to make out.  Interesting...

It was on the passenger door on the one i saw. I wonder what it really means? if a bolt was missing, you think they would have just installed it. Not really sure what top bolt they would have been talking about. It was in a junkyard in cabool Mo. This was about 4 years ago.

Not Ebody related but very interesting Chrysler Australia folklore.This car is now known as "the last bastard" to all Aussie mopar enthusiasts.The inscription was on the spray on sound deadening compound on the trunk extension.

The CM Valiant was the final chapter for Chrysler Valiants in Australia and on August 28th, 1981 the last Valiant rolled off the Tonsley Park assembly line. The white automatic sedan was Valiant number 565,338 and to mark the occasion assembly line workers scratched the words "Last Barstard" (sic) into a panel in the boot. The car was presented to Purnell Brothers dealership and was never been licensed. The car recently sold at auction for $37,500 (still in brand new condition with only 26 kms traveled) to Valiant collector and enthusiast Ivan Smith who will no doubt preserve it`s place in history as Chrysler Australia`s lasting memory.
