it wasn't a swap meet but i recently picked up a couple nice pieces of shop equipment off a local internet bulletin board.

listing said engine crane and stand for 150 pair.  couple weeks later he lowered the price to 100 so i called him and said im on my way.

i get over there and in the driveway is a like brand new cherry picker typical 2 ton larin i was cool with that but it was the engine stand that grabbed my eye.  1250 pound bluepoint from snap on with 4 caster wheels and about a 24 inch bar.

i was grinning from ear to ear all the way home.

I picked up a pair of very decent 1970 Roadrunner high back bucket seats for $150 at our clubs car show a few weeks ago.  Seller wanted $200 which was a good price already, but with my wife there looking ready to go home he agreed to $50 less.  I'm not 100% sure I'm going to pull out my bench but for the price its good to have options.

Bad part of it was the majority of what I saw for sale looked worse than most of the parts I'm pulling off of my cars...

I picked up a set of 360 cylinder heads that just had a valve job done on them with less than 200 miles run time  for 250 bucks. I don't think I could have had a valve job done on even one of my old heads for that price.
