;D Hey 74, we are the ones who came out ahead on this thread, we got to see the 74 a little better than before. Nice is all I can think of to say, I know you said you are going to keep it and that is gooood,  you would be kicking yourself for years to come, every time you saw another one somewhere you would wonder why you ever caved in and sold her.  Thanks for the pictures!! ;D

Hey guys ,no problem for the pics. The seats do recline Burpin.
Yes im deff. keeping the car, i was just seeing what its really worth.
As far as seeing another one, i have a 73 pistol grip 340 car that is undergoing resto soon.
In the next few weeks you guys will be seeing the restoration process, (stripping the car to the shell) etc.. With this cold weather here already,it looks like its going to be a longgg winter. So I'll be just collecting parts for the resto so once spring hits I'll have everything.

I love those cars, awesome stance and look like the old drag cars.

Remember mate you only live once so if there's a good buy that you just can't let go I say go for it!

So buys you'd just have to be stupid not to buy.  ;) ;D

Luv those cars too. My Dad had a 64 Plymouth Sport Fury (red) 426 wedge motor with factory headers and cross ram. He sold it about 6 years ago and is beginning to regret it.

Well we are both currently thinking about doing an even swap, roller for roller, what do you guys think?

If it's what you want, go for it!! Just make sure you are getting what the guy is claiming on eBay, many times they over rate their items by a long shot! Is it in an area where you can go look at it? Is it near one of the other members? I would make sure it is what he says it is. You already know what yours is like and it is pretty sweet from what I can see. Good Luck!!

 ;D
I'd say if that is a car you really want, and you think it's an equal to yours in condition, go for it. Personally I like the challenger better, but it's going to be your car, so it's only important what you think in the end. That 64 needs a hemi in it though...but you can sell them chevys and get a nice hemi to fill out the package...and you say you already have another challenger....so...what are you waitin for? LOL

Nick, are you really going to go through with this?  I'd say you'd probably be losing money in the long run, but it's your car and ultimately your decision.  Are you sure he won't take those Chevelles instead? ;D

He has no room for all 4 cars I offered him.
The car is about a half hour from me and he wants me to come and check it out.
Yes i want to go through with it if he accepts ,and i feel its worth it.
The paint and body work arent to great on my challenger. I would be giving him my hooker headers, radiator, driveshaft, etc as he would be giving me.
My motor is already out just would have to remove the trans.  Im not sure guys, you really think i'd be loosing money? In reality Post cars are hard to find, whats this savoy really worth?
I can always build another challenger bigger and badder then the one I have now...
If we do swap, I put my 446 and tranny in there and im done, i just don't know.... it all depends on how nice his car is..... ???
