shifter and hood insulator pad question?

Hey everyone...got two questions.....wondering if a 70,71 style shifter will fit my 73 chally slapstick...vs the t handle....and is the design any better?.....second question....This is about my A body duster...wonderin if anyones selling hood insulation pad for under the hood....mine missing......im sure year one has em...just wondering anyone elses ideas on where to buy one....year one seems so high some of there stuff....thanks for any ideas.....

The black plastic slide inside the chrome shifter plate is different.  The hole in the plastic slide is a different shape.  BE&A and PG Classics sell new chrome shifter plates that are held together with screws instead of rivits.  They also sell new plastic slides in the early and later styles.

I would recommend a pistol grip conversion to eliminate the Cheap plastic T handle,
 Quapman has the Auto Grip Shifters which are really nice
 I am not a fan of the hood insulator pads they hold too much dirt right above the engine
