Need a motor anyone have options or ideas?!
« on: June 15, 2010 - 04:20:57 PM »
So the motor on my 360 went out... :( I was thinking going hemi 5.7 but the budget won't permit! Divorce sucks!! Any other motors I can use keeping my stock k member. I would like to upgrade to fuel injection so what motors could I use? I would like a 360 off a Dakota but I can't find one
thanks

I agree divorces suck. If it's a case of a "placeholder" engine until you have the fundage again, I'd say find pretty much anything that runs and stick it in there. If you can be choosey I'd find another 360/5.9L and run that. Otherwise it's whatever you budget can take.

What other parts do you need other than the running engine?

I have a Mopar fact. reb complete magnum 360 that I won't be using still in the factory shipping crate. I sold the truck earlier this year and won't be needing it. I purchased it at a bankrupt dealer auction last year. I can send pics if you want, shipping would be about $250 to CA. I'll take $1350 for it, if interested let me know thru pm.
