Thanks Topcat!

I need to get some more pictures posted, but i keep forgetting my camera.  The exhaust is installed, except that the tips are hitting the valence.  so something needs to be shorthened somewhere.

The dash is all installed, and i am trying to work out the wiring for the overhead door ajar wires.  i think the door ajar switches are lost.

i got the trunk latch & key installed last saturday.  it's coming along!

OK, i had some issues downloading the pics from the camera.  It's a Kodak, with proprietary software that i "thought" i didn't need on the laptop.  so i had to re-install it, and dealwith all the junk.  i jast wanted to pull the pics off the camera, and be done with it. But nnnnooooooo....

so after wrestling with the software for seveal hours.....here are the latest:
Tail Panel painted!

Got the exhaust tipslined up, finally

Trunk area is all done.

Dash installed...

Shifter work just about complete

...and the engine compartment has a few things left to go.  i just picked up my A/C lines from Classic Auto Air in Tampa on the 23rd.  They look real nice.  i will post picks after they get installed.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

i can't take the credit for it, Todd's Autobody is the main culprit!  :worshippy:

He has done the paint, body work, and the detailed assembly (yes, he is a detail freak!).  I just get to buy the parts, and help turn wrenches on Saturday's!

The main reason i bought the car was the color, it was an a/c car, and that it was a Gran Coupe. the fact that it had a 440 already stuffed in it didn't hurt either!!

Tell Todd I said Hey the next time you're over there.  I should hopefully get into Volusia sometime this week and I'll head over and tell him myself and check out the ride~

Front seats are in, Front bumper & valence are bolted on, drive shaft installed.  now it's time to pour some fluids, attach the belts, and see what happens when it cranks up!  T minus 4 days.......

Yep!  Bad news saturday was that the tranny fluid leaked all over the floor.  looks like i need to get a new dipstick tube - this one is out of round.  the starter wasn't engaging right, so that got pulled and another was installed

good news is that the majority of the electrical systems are all in working order (need to get a ground on the Left rear tail light)

great news is that after the new starter was put it, Todd squirted some starter fluid in the carb, and i turned the key.....

... and she sounded great!  next step is break in!

The shop is done with her (Kudos to Todd's Body Shop for doing a fantastic paint and assembly job!!   :worshippy:   ), and as of this morning she is now in my incapable hands.
 Heaven help us!   :faint:

Thanks everyone for all the kind words!!
