833 4 speed grinding

Had the tranny rebuilt, then grinding going into 3rd and 4th.Took it back out the guy said there were somethings he change.Replaced the tranny,still grinding in 3rd and 4th.Could it be the linkage?

Prolly not.......I'm thinking it's more than likely a blocker ring (BRASS RINGS) inside aren't stopping the gears in order to engage properly...That is of course, if the rebuilder didn't perform the old "Slick shift" and grind off every other tooth from the gear in order to bang shift it....

Not the linkage. Sounds like the 3/4 synco assembly is assembed wrong.
