Question. Is there anything wrong with the sound of the Year One repos? Are they not free flow enough?

I've had Delta 40's on for two weeks and already have Spintechs on order.

The drone is driving me nuts.

I`ve got DeltaFlow 40`s and they do drone a bit, but sound great. Had a drive in a Duster with 40 originals and it was deafening :o
I`ve now put acoustic matting under the back seat to kill some of the drone/resonance - it helps :)

uk, two questions:

1) what did you use for the acoustic mat?

2) Did you jack up your car on the crossmember like that? That looks pretty hairy to me, and I've seen some pretty thin crossmembers on Mopars.

If you think about it, that's where the torsion bar is anchored. I don't think jacking it up there will put any more strain on it than a hard turn in a corner would.

When I owned my 72 Dodge Challenger it had a 671 Dyers Supercharger and a 3 inch exhaust, I had Flowmasters too, there was no sound more beautiful to my ears.  I will probably go with the flowmasters on my Cuda. They get my vote.

Speakin of radios I don't know why I even have one, nothin I'd rather hear than the sweet sound of my Mopar, so the radio is always off.  :dontknow:

I was thinking I've seen some fairly rusted crossmembers, and looking at the jack with the block of wood, etc...seems a little precarious to me.

Just my observation.
