Looking for my 1970 hemi cuda buildsheet/fender tag.....

So i have a 70 hemi cuda, but trying to see if anyone has the build sheet or fender tag??? (long shot I know...)

Vin: BS23R0B199592

Car is a Hamtrack built car, auto trans, gran coupe overhead console, ralley dash.... was being drag raced back in the 70's / 80's in the San Francisco Bay area.....

Any info greatly appreciated...

are you comfortable with posting your complete VIN here...?   I`d leave out the last few digits and see if something comes close enough first

I do not even bother to check partial VINs, I know that I do not have anything here with xxx in it.

The VIN is the cars name, no big deal to post it.

It would be similar to;

Hey, anyone know Lisa? I would LOVE to get in touch with her, I have not seen her in years!

The first thing anyone would want to know is Lisa who? I know several girls named Lisa. 

So, in this case, the BS23R0B is the first name & the 199592 is the last name. 

Anyone who is serious about locating something for their car in a 'wanted' thread like this one should post the full VIN or it is a waste of their time.

A point to consider, hypothetical situation.......

Bob finds a broadcast sheet for BS27R0B555555 in his car. It does not match his car, so he does a google search for BS27R0B555555 & no matches are found.

The car still exists, but the owner posted a want ad & just used BS27R0B555xxx. Bob is not going to search for that, so he will not find the owner of the car.

It is the owners loss, so close but no cigar. 

Another common mistake that some posters make is using the letter O vs. a zero. Our cars will not have any Os in the VIN, so make sure you get it right if you post about it to increase your chances.

ok..... if you go the Lisa route..... 
I don`t know about the States, but here are lot`s of carcriminals cloning cars.  There are several  identical cars cruising the roads here. If you buy a car like that and the clone reveals at some point ( and it will) you`re left with nothing, cause the vehicle will be destroyed. I would be a lot easier to clone a 40 yr. old cuda ( worth big bucks ) than a modern car too... so a vin helps along with all the other info found here

Some countries over there allow for duplicate VINs. I have heard that in some cases steps are being taken to correct that.

In the US if a duplicate VIN hits the system it sets off bells & whistles inside the LEO community & gets dealt with.
