Lets C E bodies W/after market rims! I need ideas!
« on: June 27, 2010 - 03:08:01 PM »
I have 15 rally rims on my 70 Cuda vert. I am tired of them and am considering something more retro, like TQs, ect. Who has non stock rims/ on their vertts? Also I have 245s all the way around on this rig, what are you running? I want a different look!

 :wow:  Very nice looking vert!

I wish I had some pics of verts with different wheels.  Maybe some old school torque thrust with black centers would look cool.

Just like Mike above, I'm not going to be any help with the wheel question, but I run 245's up front and 275's on the rear. Oh yeh, nice looking car.

Dave.

And I am from Northern Nevada. I was on here years ago under a different user name but could not come up with an old password and my email was different--so, new user name.  I bought this car 15 years ago. Built it when the clone thing was new. I painted it myself with PPG Viper red and 3 years ago had a friend whos a pro do it with Standox. I just never drove it and have recently decided its going to be driven a lot.  Down the road I MAY even remove the 440-6 and get a 6.1 and Altercation system or similar. However, I am going to just drive it while building several other cars I have leave it until they are done!!!.

I also have a 72 340 Petty blue Cuda thats in nee3d of a full resto. Was my high school car in 1978-1981. I sold it in 1981 when my girlfriend and I split up. I started dating her again in 1991 after seing her in town during her highschool reunion and in 1998, found the car and bought it. Now I have the girl and the car!!!  Almost 20 years later we are still tomgether and happy but the car is next. I also have a 340-6 67 dart thats almost complete and a 70 Belvedere that needs to be done and a cuda drag car!
