Mopars across Canada
« on: June 28, 2010 - 03:57:06 PM »
I went to Canada for a week to visit my wifes family.  We flew in to Calgary, spent a few days in Alberta, then drove to Steinbach, Manitoba.  I saw a bunch of old Mopars on the road, unfortunately, I just got pics of 3 of them.
1.  '71-74 B-Body, it looked like it had just been painted, the trim hadn't been put back on yet.
2.  '73 Challenger, red or Hemi Orange, being driven by a young blond woman
3.  late '50s Plymouth station wagon, sitting on the side of the road, looked like it was for sale.
4.  '68 Coronet convertible, sitting in the parking lot of a Husky station in Brandon, MB
5.  late '70s Chrysler Cordoba, sitting in the weeds on a building lot that my brother-in-law just bought.
6.  '69 Dart.   looked nice, it was in the parking lot of a store, a few guys were around it checking it out.
7.  mid '60s Chrysler, on the back of a rollback, looked like it had just come from the paint shop, Plum Crazy
8.  '66 Dodge Polara 4 door, looked like a daily driver
9.  late '60s Chrysler, being driven by an old man

In Ontario we have Moparfest. I went last year and found prices at the swap meet to be much better than at Carlisle! And usually (for our American buddies) you dollar is usually worth more too!
