    I wouldn't recommend S/S springs if you're not racing the car, they are very stiff and have a lot of 'bounce' over rough pavement.  :eek4:

    I lean the other way , the XHD springs seem to sag out in a few days where the SS springs seem to be made of better material as long as you get the right weight of spring

    S/S springs also have a ton of arch (maybe 5-7 inches), so you need to factor in if you want the car to sit that high.

I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

    Intresting post here's why.....

    NIKKI's got XHD's I really like the stance...  :ylsuper:

    My buddy got XHD's on his R/T SE and his car sat much lower than mine does.... and mine have been on for awhile... :dunno:

    Different steel?? Different assy plant?? Who knows  :clueless:

    I have S/S springs and 3" lowering blocks to get the stance back.  It can be a rough ride, but I'm sure the 18's contribute as well.

    What weight do you recommend?

    What about( if set correctly) the car setting crooked side to side?

    At the same time I'm gonne get my B-body rear axel on, - can I get the 3/4" re-location front hanger for springs in stock length..???

    The Mopar parts are lower cost compared to Dr Diff.  I've always thought you could redrill the Mopar hanger to accept the longer springs.

    Taking a 2nd look, I don't think the Mopar hanger will work with the factory springs.  The taper is too gradual and would interfer with the mount.

    To me, that set looks like the ones you use with S/S springs, who is 2" shorter...???
