    my wife went to drop off some of my kids old stuff that doesnt fit and toy to the salvation army she comes out 15 min latter and some ass hit my car and drove away over 1500 in damadge it need a new fender bumper cover parcking light and stripe from challenger garyand the fun part is i have to pay a 500 dectbial because of some jerk.the car is going in the shop friday morning a few doors down from my house for about a week then i will keep it in my gardge you cant have nothing nice.you know i worked my ass off for this car and now thats 500 that my famley doesnt have because of some ass,its just not fare

    I hate it when people do that stuff and don't man up and take responsibility.  It will all work out in time.   :2thumbs:   Just remember that karma is a ___ch, and the person that did this to your car has one coming to him....    :cheers:

    Sorry to hear about the car. I watched in horror from across the parking lot as a drunk hit my car.  :22yikes: Then had to run and catch the a$$ as he tried to drive away. Only 1500 in damage? Mine was more like 2600, but I didn't have to pay the deductible (the guy at least had insurance). Good luck with the repairs. I hope it works out for you. Make sure you have all the damage accounted for, you don't want to find out something didn't get covered.

    i think the reason i got stuck paying the 500 is because they dont know who did it.you know im not rich i got house paymen tan car payment 2 kids and all the other bills to deal with and when some jerk does this it just ant right .i would never do that to someone.the shop im tacking it to is suposed to be realy good and they deal with the state farm so all i have to do is drop it off and pay 500.after this im scared to drive the car with a 765 a mounth car payment and 120 for the ins it this happens again i dont want to be out the 500 again so what do you do

    WOW that sucks.  I'm always very careful where I park in a lot but sometime it just doesn't matter as no where is safe.  Same with bird poop . . . I think there is a big target on the top of my car that the birds aim for?   :banghead:

    Sorry bout your ride guy..You want to talk about whats not right??? How about everytime this sh*t happens to good people, (that HAVE to turn it in on their insurance), that MY own insurance goes up because as I was told "Someone has to cover that"....Same way with home owners insurance...Fires out in California a few years back, caused MY insurance to go up...I didn't set them either....

    Man that sucks!
    When I was in college I came out after classes and drove to a part time job I had, when I got out of the car and started to walk to the front door of the shop, I noticed the front fender was all mashed in.  Obviously someone in the parking lot at college had plowed into it and didn't leave any note or anything, and I didn't notice it until later. :swear:
    I get nervous driving my Challengers, I mainly drive my POS Lincoln and wish someone would run into it and total it, I can pretty much guarantee that will never happen.
    Yet there is a pretty good chance someone will hit one of the Challengers some day.
    It's just like the birds, they always crap on nice cars and leave the ugly ones alone!

    I feel your pain.  I've had other cars hit mine twice in the past.  Both times I was lucky enough to be there and get thier information.  Both times they pleaded with me to not call the cops, saying they would pay.  Both times they chnaged their minds after finding out how much it would cost to fix.

    Luckily I was able to take them to small claims court and get the money.  Moral of the story, always get a police report.

    are there any other shops in the area,,most parking lots have cameras and maybe an adjoining shop would have video,,never know,,sorry about your car

    :iagree: check with the store and see if they have video cameras. did they leave any paint off there care\truck on yours?
    tail light peaces from there car maybe that you could match up in a week or 2 if they come back looking to buy more stuff.

    Please dont stop driving your car becuse of some fools enjoy it just watch were you park it.  :bigshades:
