Hope you'll have a lot of fun with it!

Is it a real N96 car?

What's N96? The car matched my demanded model and engine specs which was having originally been a 383 matching # or non-matching # or bigger.

This Cuda was originally a 383, now has a 440-6. Cost - $55.000 or 340.000NOK
Worth it? Don't know yet..

And thanks guys, you've been great help !

N96 is the option code for the shaker hood. The code would be one of the ones listed on the fender tag.

Would have been fun if you're able to bring your new car to the biggest annual Chrysler gathering in Norway. Flyer posted here:

If it was originally a 383 car then it won't be a real N96 car.  I just bought a real shaker hood N96 4-speed 340 Cuda last week that's been a drag car for the last 30 years. I'll race it for a while before restoring it. The N96 option on e-bodies was only available with 340, 440-6 and 426 hemi.  B-bodies also use the N96 option code but it's for an air grabber hood.
As for value, it's always hard to tell. Even the clones are bringing good money nowadays. That car would have brought around 30 to 35 here in the U.S. with the current economy. If it was a real shaker hood car then it would have brought 50-55.

30-35 seems about right. With the import duty and other cost I'd end up around what I gave for it.

Those imprt duties and taxes can certainly put a damper on buying a car from another country. I guess the only good part is that it helps to keep more of the musclecars here in the U.S..

I've never seen a Gran Coupe with an N96 shaker.  not to say that it couldn't happen, i haven't seen any.  i thought about adding one to mine, but i had to keep costs under control somewhere!!    on a great car!

If you know of a gran coupe with a shaker I want a good pic of the data plate or the build sheet.
I've seen gc's with Cuda hoods ( I have one) but no shakers.
Gran Coupes were only available with the six cylinder, 318 and 383 2 barrel.
To order a gc with a shaker would have been impossible.
