The C.A.T. fluid damper uses the stock pulley that 440 Source supplies. The pulley fits snugly into the damper to center it, as the stock steel ones use the machined edge of the pulley. So far so good.

Tom, the one on the 505" slipped a little after a couple thousand miles. Enough for Jay to notice so he replaced it. I didn't find out until months after during another conversation with Jay. I have two others (Pro Products) in service that have been fine. If you're concerned take a bright paint color and mark the inner and outer rings in one line somewhere on it. Then it's easy to inspect it. Your's has been fine so I'd just keep tabs on it. I switched to Pro Street because I know several guys (Including Hughes) that use them and "have had no problems". I used one on Doug's engine. It didnt last a few hundred miles, plus ate the timing cover and sent aluminum all through his engine. I replaced the Pro Street with an MP SFI rated one and gave him all the gaskets and a new timing cover. He swapped them but the oil pressure's not right now so there's crap in the oil system. I went to his house anmd helped pull it and brought it home here. He's picking up a loaner mild 360 and convertor from me tomorrow as a place holder. I've got to hope Mancini will credit me at least for the POS one.

I've got a NIB Mopar Performance P4452816 (marked made in Canada, so at least its not some Chinese made POS).  Its listed as the correct replacement for either my 318 or a replacement 340, except for the symmetrical bolt pattern; my '71 has that one offset bolt so the pulley would need to be modded or replaced.

The papers that came with it say its "not SEMA approved" but  there's no mention of SFI.  I assume there shouldn't be any problem with it?  Even if I manage to afford the 340 I want, its not going to be a drag engine or overly high-revving...
