Door locks

When I bought my Cuda there was no door key with it. Since the car gets its inspection papers tomorrow night and the insurance on Sunday if I can find a place that sells it, or Monday if I can't find a place on Sunday I decided that I should get the locks working. I pulled out the handle and picked up a new set from Auto Zone for 14 bucks. When I took the handle out I noticed that the actuator arm for the outside lock was missing. Can someone that has their car apart post a pic of what it looks like so I can fabricate a new one? Or is the actuator something that I can grab off a K car or something?

I don't have one available to take a picture of, but the rod is thicker than a close hanger. The left and right rods are different. I just want to mention you might try looking down inside your door for the rod. Where the rod attaches to the door latch, it is held on by a plastic clip that clip may have broken allowing the rod to fall off.

I felt around the bottom of the door and didn't feel anything, but I'll check again just to be safe. I have various sizes of welding rod here, so I can probably find something close.

I double checked the bottom of the door and there was nothing there but a few random pieces of old sand paper. I've searched online for pics but I didn't find anything that would even give me a rough idea of what it needs to look like.

 I can't possibly begin to describe them to you. When I first got my car, my rods were removed too.   

I could never lock the car(insert swear words here). I did find a set of the door lock rods on E-Bay, and I still see them pop up occasionally. You might also want to contact Stephens Performance as they are a Mopar salvage yard. Word of warning there is you usually have to pay thru the nose.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. The actuator bars from the lock to the mechanism are missing. I have the bars for the inside locks and the handles. In the pic it's the thinner of the two short bars. It doesn't have as many bends as I thought it would. I was talking to the guy with the 72 Chally that I'm looking at night, and he thinks he might have a set of bars around his shop somewhere.
