if the car is available I would be interested as well , it would be no issue to get a vin issued for the car although it would not be original JS23V0B type tag

 a guy on ebay bought the car.Have not heard any updates about the car.I am sure he is not a member on cc.

Not to kick up and old thread but.....I know of an original Purple V code Chally and I know where the numbers matching engine is..  :bigsmile: I wonder If I can reunite the two?

I'm supposed to be going check it out soon. I've only seen it once and from what I remember, it was in great shape. It's here in my home town, locked up very tight by the current owner.

Yeah, the guy is super secretive. He doesn't like anyone to know about what he has, and he has quite a few cars. Lives in a little house down a dead end road. I'm sure he has a few 426 blocks and other stuff in his shed. 6 pack setups etc. Kind of like a muscle car barn find dream.
