I played high school football with a guy whose whole family was into cart racing and either he or his brother were national champions for several years in the mid/late 70's. That guy could flat out drive. I made the mistake of taking a ride home from a party in the back seat of his 455 Grand Prix! I've never spent so much time going sideways around corners before or since. Sliding around 90 degree corners completely sideways in a huge car like that early 70's GP was just unreal, I couldn't believe we didn't hit anything! I tried something similar one time in my Roadrunner a year or so later, and one time was enough. Never tried it again, that car was set up for straight lines only.
Cool looking movie, I'll definitely try to catch it.
