hmmm k......what do you think is my best bet? i'm wantin to hide all the wiring the best i can and in the future run power windows and a nice stereo system

One thing about Painless Wiring. They don't have any Mopar ends on the end like GM wiring does.  They can't get the ends so you have to splice.  Ask them about this before you order.

As long as you are capable of the actual wiring and making endless good/quality connections it is a great idea. As mentioned the connectors aren't the easiest to find for mopars. It takes quite a bit of time to install for sure, a little overwhelming initially

i have my old wiring, its jus been hacked and some of it fried...could i make the connections work with painless kit?

installed one in my barracuda a few months ago. Seemed like alot of work at first but i just started at the tail end and worked my way forward.

I used all of the original connectors from the old harness that i just ripped out. The colors on the ignition column didnt work out exactly but was easy enough to decode using a wiring diagram and multimeter.

Took about a solid weekends worth of time.

Did the same with my 71 Challenger last year.  It was easy to do, just take off the old end, clean it and attach it to the new wire, and replace where needed.  Took me a few weekends, but I didn't have full days to work on the car.
