« on: April 23, 2002 - 11:16:19 PM »
the snap-on dealer was at the shop today and he was running a sale on torque wrenchs.
it's slick, it has a flex head for tight spots. the range is 5-74 foot pounds
he justs puts me on the EASY payment plan ;D ;D
once a week for the rest of your life ;D ;D

is there a pill or therapy so i can stay away from the TOOL TRUCK :o :o :P
i guess that's why they call him a DEALER.......hahaha

I'm with you Dark Horse.  Can't afford Snap-on, but they opened up a new Harbor Freight by us.  That's where me I my hubby sometimes hang-out just drooling over...I mean looking at tools.

they put me on a payment plan. he lets me pay what i can each week, so it don't hit all at once.

i understand Big M. just playing.... I like snap-on,i feel its the best there is, and if I was a automechanic I would use the very best like you too. Mac is nice too.. but since im just basically a weekend wrencher, craftsmen works... ;D

they are called turbo sockets. they take off rounded, rusted, and just plan screwed up bolts.

if you are going to work on your car they will save you a hell of alot of time.... they cost but well worth it.

my dad was working on an exhaust system, he worked all day and never got one out. i brought over the turbo sockets and it took me longer to get the socket in place than it did getting them loose. about 5min's it was out.
THEY ARE SWEET.... :o ;D
THEY'LL take loose completely round stuff.

Big Mike, make sure that you get put on Harbor Freights e-mail list.  They send out special discounts for e-mail customers that could save another 5 - 10% if you bring in a printout of their e-mail.
