Thanks Jim and Pam!!!!!
« on: July 13, 2010 - 09:40:49 PM »
We stopped off to see Jim and Pam after Carlisle. We stayed the night and WOW what a steak Jim can grill. I think I'm still full. Before that we took the T/A for a drive and I have to admit I had Jim grabbing for the dash a couple times. It was a blast and I hope his neighbors didn't mind too much. We did defiantly got the carbon wore off the back tires. We left around noon today and made it to Champaign IL to stop for the night.  Thanks again Jim and Pam for the hospitality, it was great to see you again.

Ken, it was our priviledge to have you and Nancy visit us. And thanks for spot "paving" our little township road  :roflsmiley: what ya did was an inprovement.  :smilielol: Yep that lil 340 screams, and I did hang on a couple times, along with the power range of the 340 those "rock and roll" tires gives you a sense of "Oh sh!t". Hope you are feeling better Kenny, the heat and humidity of the east can be punishing, usually we don't have this kind of weather until mid August. Hope you were at least a little confortable, we just got to get AC in the "Barn", otherwise it's a cozy lil place. Yous guys are great, top shelf.............but we already knew that.  :2thumbs:  Thanks again for stopping by.

Thanks again Jim. The stay and the hospitality was over the top. I think the heat is following as we went through Iowa it was 98 and about that much humidity. We just stopped for the night about 60 miles east of Omaha Neb. When we pulled in it was 95 and the truck and trans was around 200 so we thought we would give her a little rest.

Thanks Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so nice to finally meet you. It seamed like I knew you all my life. Just wish I had a chance to say bye. We went over by your car but couldn't find you. Hope you made the trip home safe. Right now there is a very bad thunderstorm going through here. I'm just glad I have the enclosed trailer. If the truck or trailer get damaged at least the T/A should be safe. It's thundering very loud and the rain is horizontal. it is coming with 50 mph winds according to the warning on TV.
