Trunk & 1/4 Moldings? Difference between 70 & 71-74?
« on: October 25, 2004 - 12:09:43 AM »

As the topic stats, what is the difference between 1970 and 1971-74  Trunk and 1/4 panel moldings?

There is a guy sell repo kits for 1971-74 only. I was told that 71-74 moldings have a lip on them, can you tell?

Is it noticable? Like in a major way or not really?

If worst comes to worst I might buy the 71-74 kit.

Yeah, NZ, the '71-'74's have a distinct ridge/lip towards the outer leading edge of the molding.  On the '70, it was rounded without any ridge visible.  I could possibly find you the two edges for a '70, but I can't remember the shape they were in, plus I don't know when I'll be home again.
