    matte black? white? or red..... it is a dilema..

    My personal opinion - leave it alone.  Your car is Drop Dead Gorgeous!!!  Don't do it - I know it is costing me a sale to say it but I'd just leave it plain.  The way I look at things is when you add stripes or graphics to a car/truck, you need to ask "Does it add  to the vehicle or take away?"  In this case, I think it would take away...

    A red billboard would be cool. I like the classy black stripe though.  The way it is now it looks soooo   nice and crisp. Straight. Just like the factory. I'd leave it like it is too...   Very nice car JH23.  Feel free to post more pics.  :bigsmile:

    I was at "Moparfest" last Sunday and snapped a few pictures of a black 74 Cuda.
    It has a red hockey stick graphic on the rear panels.  You can use it for reference as to how it might look on your car.
    It's not as bold as the huge billboard type graphic but more subdued.

    Like the others say your cuda is nice just the way it stands now.
    You can't improve perfection.

    it is me or on the pic, the car look like to have a verry orange peel on the paint? look like black ice cream.... ?

    i like the looking of the billboard and the hockey stick stripe.. but my girlfriend didn t want  i do this with the cuda.. my girlfriend prefer i keep it like 74 corect... not a years mix.....

    Yeah, I see that too.   I never looked that closely at the car when I was there but black is a tricky color and imperfections will show more at certain angles or light.
    Looks like the owner wasn't too worried about the mud on his car anyways.  In a perfect world all collector cars would be driven and look pristine.

    yep black i  a verry hard color. i am lucky, my cuda body as painted by a verry professional guy. no wave in the body no orange peel... my cuda is like a number 8 pool ball... a mirror.. a couple of scratch, it is normal i drive my car.. in general the body is almost perfect.

    Great Car!  I like the rim blow.  My Challenger has rim blow and I also have a spare.  Problem is both need restoration.  Is your wheel NOS, restored or after market?  I would like to know where to get my wheel restored.  PK
