Ed who is 79 fell Thursday right after we unloaded the Posey Challenger. I drove it into Building T and then we me and Bryan went back outside they were helping Ed into the truck. He didn't want to be in the hospital that far from home (520Miles) so they took him home Friday. They found out he had broke his hip completly in two. Sat they did a hip replacement. It went real good and they had him up walking on Sunday. He went to another hospital for some special care and was able to come home Yesterday. We took the Petty Challenger to a Concours D'Elegance here in Lexington Yesterday and he was looking forward to being there but he will just have to wait till he is better.
We had a good time at Carlisle other than Ed getting hurt and maybe we will be able to bring the Petty Challenger back next year. We had a "Sound Off" in building T on Sat afternoon with 2 Hemi Chargers and the small block trans am racer. I thing we made a little more noise than the big blocks did. The Petty Challenger even makes more noise so we will have to wait for next year to raise the roof a little bit.
Thanks Dave
