It's a 340 stroked to 416, Edelbrock 800 carb, Air Gap intake, makes about 460 HP & 510 Torque, ect....
When I stand on the gas (wide open), it pulls great up to 5500 rpm's, I shift to second and it falls on it's face as it gets to 500 rpm.....
It ran great on the dyno with no problem, but they used an MSD electrical box and an electric fuel pump....
We thought it was not getting enough gas, so I've done the following.
Cleaned carb and set floats
Switched to a 3/8'' pick up / sending unit
switched to a 3/8'' steel fuel line
added a 110 GPH Edelbrock (1720) mechanical fuel pump
new fuel filter
there is 3/8'' fuel line from the tank to the carb.
new battery
new voltage regulator & sanded firewall paint to ensure good ground
new alternator
Sanded paint on firewall behind orange Mopar electrical ignition box to ensure good ground
The only thing I have not replaced is the orange Mopar electrical ignition box..... I want to replace it, what should I buy?
??
Any suggestions as to what's going wrong?
