Hmmm, I'm told that trunk monkey means something here....well i'm sure it will become clear in time. And yep I think im sane enough now to write a bit more about my adventure to quaptown
Now you must understand, this aint no picnic in NC where humidity is 90 plus and one does not have airconditioning in their truck, yeah yeah I know, taking on major projects and such and I cant recharge the aircon. Anyway we arrived at Steve's place after a 2 and a half hour drive bright eyed and bushy tailed. Unfortunately i didnt last long, after the challenger was loaded i was feeling it and started going reeeal slow. Steve is a patient man though and managed to throw me over his shoulder and carry me through the rest of it. So having picked over a bunch of parts to throw in the back of the pickup, it was time to say our goodbyes and take off back home, time there? five hours, yup, man challenger men playing with car parts. I think ill see about getting a hotel room near steves place sometime so I can really give him a hard time
Ok so now we hit the road, arrr, axle hop at 50mph, grrrr, its a 45mph drive all the way home. 160 miles, oh yeah excitement plus. so finally home, everything put away in the shed and finally able to collapse, its 7pm, thats a long thirteen hr day, yup cant remember when was the last time i did that, but hey im sure it wont be the last.
And Steve, once again, thanks for all you have done, I greatly appreciate it!
P.S. Since I dont drink beer, what else is on offer?
