Well I know I'll get alot of slack for this but based on how fast I would like to go and the fact I still want to be completely streetable my build up plans include the use of a turbo or for that matter turbos. If I want to go all motor (N/A) in hopes to go into the (high) nines will require big dollar heads, intake, new headers, and a huge cam. At that point all streetablitly heads out the door. Case in point is that I drove my Cuda 4 hours round trip to Rockingham dragway last summer on a 95 degree day, lowered the air pressure on the drag radials went low 11s and drove it back home. This what I concider streetable. I live close to a guy that goes by instigator on moparts that went 5.60s in the eight mile
on a fairly basic small block with edelbrock heads (the same as what I have currently) with the help of a home made twin turbo set up. Keep in mind turbos dont need lots of cam hence good streetablity. That translates to low 9 second/ high 8 second car that can be driven anywhere. I have to chose my battles and looks like this is the way I'm heading!!
