I like the colour! Is it a stock colour? Reminds me of Don's( Cudaguy) Cuda -butternut?

Thanks guys.  The color is not a factory color.  I ended up getting multiple 2oz samples from the local PPG dealer and mixing them together to come up with the color.  The pics make it look kinda like butterscotch, but is really more orange.  I think the combination of pearl and fluorescent lights are playing tricks with the camera.  I have it about 1/2 sanded so when I finish buffing it, I will move it outside and try to get some better shots of the color.

My wife bought me a set of wheels for my birthday, so even though I don't have tires on them yet, I went ahead and sit them under the car to get an idea what they will look like. You have to use your imagination, but I think they are going to look good.

Great car you are building there.I think the build is a lot like mine.I was going to do the protouring. but have  decided to keep the stock suspension with some opgrades, to make it more street friendly. I'm looking forward to see the further progress on your car.

I to am interested to see how well you can make it handle with some basic bolt-on upgrades.  Have you picked any specific parts yet?   I have been saving all summer and finally ordered my suspension parts and they have been arriving all week so it has felt like Christmas around here. I went with Just Suspension 1" torsion bars, Addco 1-1/8 and 7/8" sway bars, CAP adj strut rods, urethane bushings, Moog balljoints/11/16" tierods/etc, MP XHD leaf springs, Dr. Diff offset hangers, urethane leaf spring bushings.  I also gusseted my steering box mounts, welded up the k-frame and will be boxing the lower control arms.  I plan to order the Firmfeel stage 3 box with fast ratio pitman arm sometime in the future.
Haven't decided on shocks yet, but am leaning towards the KYB as a starting point. I have heard people complain about them as being to harsh, but everyone's taste is different and I figure they wouldn't be in business if they didn't do something right. In any casing, they are resonably priced and I can easily change them later if needed.  In truth, I may end up changing front /rear spring rates and sway bars as well depending on how it drives...

I just got Hotchkis upper control arms,RCD shocks, front and rear sway bars, firm feels fast ratio arms. I already had just suspensions 1" Tbars, and rear ESPO springs. I'm determined to improve the handling so it handles at least better than my Suburban! :grinyes: :working:

I'm thinking on buying RMS adj upper control arms and strut rods, some 2"drop spindels, QA1 adj shocks front and rear, 1"
torsion bars and a new set leaf springs, rear sway bar.
Then i have ADDCO 1-1/8 swaybar, urethane bushings for front and rear, sub frame connecters/etc.
I have looked on CAP tubelar lower control arms but don't know if they are good are bad?
