Challenger vs 2010 Vette
« on: July 23, 2010 - 05:58:36 PM »
I was heading out to a car show in Midland leaving Wasaga Beach driving down Hwy 27 towards hwy 93 very nice  road straight 2 lane, listening to ACDC blast in the car, out of knowwhere an old fart in a 2010 Vette pulls up  beside me saying something to me, so I turn down the music and the POS says, nice car too bad it's a mopar. GRRRR so , i say nice color, too bad its a POS fibreglass vette, Long story short we are at a set of lights.
I do a wicked burnout, his eyes get bigger, lol , he takes me off the line probably 3 cars, he has Traction control I have BFG ta's i catch him in 3rd gear , blow past him in 4th , got him by 5 or 6 cars.
Now the embarrassed Dick slows down knowing he cant catch me, I slow right down to about 60 mph from about 110 he wont look at me, so i play with him, no bite finally leave him in the dust, Challenger kills the Chevy.
Moral of the story, never under estimate the power of old school mopar technology.

Great job!! I love to here a Vette killing. A while back my wife and I were coming back from a car show and some young punks in a new C6 Vette jumped all over us while I was minding my own business. I busted there asses twice. We pulled into a gas station and they had all kind of excusses why they couldnt keep up. They asked me what I had done to the car and I told them it was a stock 340 with a cam! Should have seen the expression on their faces!! :2thumbs:

2010, I resized your avatar. Usually I just do a straight resize for these, but with your subject matter I did a crop to show off the girls a little better.
