    well i just got home from my first cruise night, went to meet April.

    her car is perfect, so naturally she won  FIRST PLACE  as she should have.   her and her friends
    were very nice. Man am i glad she told me about it.     also met the guy thats gonna build me
    a totally retarded 440/6..   his partner built me a 396 chevelle motor 22yrs. ago that pulled the front wheels on the vert. I'M SOOOOOOO  HAPPY  ;D ;D ;D    my car is gonna be scary

    Why are the only other cars on the road all in my rear view mirror?  Oh yeah cause I got a 440/6 pack

    You are still smiling from ear to ear aren't you!  LOL  I am glad that you ran into that guy with the 67 Cuda (the one who's partner did your 383).  Now I know who I can go to.  It was very nice to meet you and the kids.  I bet we are going to have some fun next summer. 

    Hemi Hunter is going to have some sweet Chally vert come next spring. I don't wanna spoil any suprises so I'm not telling.  All I can say is that the car is nice now, but when he is done it will be a head turner.  I guess I am going to have some competition at the shows!  It turned out to be a great night for a spur of the moment kind of thing.

    I have been to quite a few shows and cruises since I got the car in July.  This is my 6th trophy.  I took 1st tonight and once before at another cruise night.  I got 2nd place once at a cruise night and 2nd place at a real car show where they had three judges and did a point scoring system.  I also won 3rd at a cruise night.  I also got a trophy at a big car show where they gave trophys to the best 75 cars.  They called out names in no particular order so I don't know what place I got there.  I hope that isn't too confusing...to sum it up:

    2   1st place
    2   2nd place
    1   3rd place
    and one without a place (lol)

    I love trophies!!!!!  My friends who I go to shows with call me a trophy hog.  That isn't entirely true because at the cruise night shows you can only win once a year.  They want to make it fair and give everyone a chance to win.

    Thats really keuwl that you enjoy your car and the car scene.

    Mind you who wouldn't enjoy that car? It's a winner from every angle.  ;)  8)

    Nice April!!  That looks like fun to me.  ;D   I think within a week, the car is going to have to be put away for the winter and I probably won't see much of it until spring!!   :'(   :'(   :'(

    ok this may change, but i swear only for the better.  i'm gonna give the engine guy my 69 440 block
    and tell him its gotta run on hightest when hes done, indy heads, worked if needed,hyd cam and lifters so i can work on it, bored over, mill crank, keeping SIX PACK, 727/cheetah pro street valve body,HEMI springs,pinion snubber, not sure about rear end,  right now has @#$% 9inch, gears ?  basically  back in, way back in 82
    i gave him the 396 block and said keep it under the hood cause cowl worked, but i want the tires to wrinkle and the passenger to cry.........here i go again
