    Emailed 0nebadhemi with this story. When I was 16, in 1974, I bought back a 1970 CHALLENGER my folks bought new when I was 12. Paid 800.00 for it. Sublime green, 440 sixpack R/T convertible. Black top. Still have the original window sticker from the car. Makes me sick just thinking about letting that car get away!!!!!!!! daves70

    I know how you feel I had 70 R/T 440-6 4-speed dana 60 plum crazy with white int.
    I bought that car from an old lady in a trailer park in Az. for $2100.00 and it only had 25675 mi. :o
    I sold the car because the offer was to good to turn down. If had it today I could get at least 3X what i sold it for. :'(

    I can't say I ever had one of those but it nearly makes me cry just hearing about them.  :'(

    Yip, same here. This is my first encounter with a MoPar as you can understand there very few and far between down here.


    I think I got a good score. LOL!!  ;D 8) Still, I hate to feel the pain you lads go through after having those kinds of cars.  :D


    Oh well, can't dwell about the past for ever eh!! Buy, Save, or build another one!!!  :D

    i'm 16 years and 2 days old in 1978  first thing i bought was a 71 340 rt  pistol grip 4 bbl  plum blk stripe

    My step dad didnt buy a Superbird rolling chase for $1000.00 in the 80's because he listened to his mother, he still has every other car he bought  ::) :'( :'( oh well his 65 sting ray 327 4spd (yes its restored) hasent left the garage since 95 or 96  :'( :'(
