E Body Window Regulator Help

Has anyone recently purchased and installed a NEW E Body window regulator, purchased from AMD? 
I have been through two units and they seem to have the gearing clocked incorrectly.  The regulator hits the crank stop leaving the window almost 3" short of the roof rail.  I compared it to my worn out regulator and positioned them the same and the teeth locations are different.  Everything else about the new regulators measure the same and they fit in the door location without issue.  It just will not bring the window to its proper height.  AMD has been working with me in trying to get the issue resolved. 
The salesman said they have sold over 100 units, over the last 6 months, and no one else has complained.
I am replacing the driver side because the scissor joint on my original is worn out, causing the front of the glass to tilt forward when being rolled up.  My passenger side window operates normally.

I have the same problem; sorta...

I bought an original replacement part.  Haven't addressed it yet but it will be within a couple weeks.  I'll try to remember to drop ya a line with my findings.

Hi Joe,
Thanks for responding.  You may have better luck if your working on your 1970.  They have a slightly different style for '70 vs. '71-'74.  Mine is a 1971 Barracuda.  The ones they sent me appear to have been assembled wrong making the gearing off.  Since yours is a different model year you may be more fortunate.
I'm also need a plan "B",  can some one direct me to a good, used, '71 Barracuda, Driver Side Window Regulator???

Could you adjust them in any way? Mine is shot in my in my 72 Cuda the window tips forward a little when it goes up. I need to open it up to see why it is doing that. Maybe some thing is coming loose in the track. How much was the cost so I have an idea if thats what I need?

The reason the front portion of the window tips forward is because the hinge portion of the scissor on the regulator has worn out.  I do not know if it can be repaired but there is no adjustment involved.  AMD sell the part for ~$200, as far as I know they are the only manufacturer.
