Im trying to get the car 99% done (it will never be 100%) for the nationals; I have a list of issues that need addressing and was hoping for a little advice here. Its probably easiest to list it, so thats what I'll do
1) Antenna - I want a telescoping antenna that uses the original bezel and/or looks pretty much stock. I can find stock ones all day, but cant find a telescoping one that I know will work and look correct - anyone here recommend one?
2) Door lock lever - Im missing the piece that attaches to the key mechanism and moves the lever to unlock the door when the key is turned. I cant find a place that sells it and really dont want to buy another set of locks for that little piece. Someone have one squirreled away that they are willing to sell?
3) SE belt molding - I need the push in clips that hold the molding onto the top of door. I searched RT specialties' website and couldnt find anything. I also sent an email, but havnt received a response. I dont even know if I have the correct clips, does anyone have an alternative or source for the clips?
4) Washer bottle - I can find this easily, but am amazed at how much they want now. I swear I paid like 18 bucks a few years ago and now they want 50+
I will probably end up shelling 50 bucks, but wanted to rant first....
Anyhow, any help is greatly appreciated
