70 challenger headliner
« on: August 02, 2010 - 10:45:24 AM »
Does a 70 chally have the sailpanels that go on the outside of the headliner?  Mine has sail panel boards on the roof rail.  It looks like the headliner goes over these, if so does the headliner glue to these?  I was told their are no stupid questions.  Hope this applies.  Thanks, Danny

Anybody have a pic where the headliner comes down to the rear interior panel?  Thanks, Danny

At the bottom of the cardboard sail panels there are metal tack strips that the headliner attaches to.  For a pic here are the parts on ebay:

The tack strips run horizontal, and my 74 had predrilled holes to attach the strips to the unibody.  Hope this helps.
