BB Mopar Road Race pan

Just bought a Milodaon 51380 road race pan, only 5.5 inches deep, holds 7 qts., dual kickouts, lots of trap doors to keep oil where it belongs. Really nice piece, anyone ever use one, or have any known issues with it, ie. header clearence, draglink etc. ??

Also anyone know of a program that i can download to shrink down/convert photos?? was gonna post pics with this thread but hey are all to large.

this an awesome pan im suprised that more people dont us them they have the same bottom clearence as stock, I still use a skid plate but yes I love this pan, and yes it is a little tight , but it still fit with no hammering but as we all know these cars can differ from car to car but dont worry it will fit, and they have 3 hinged doors,and i never lose pressure at anytime,hard corners, hard acceleration, these pans are very nice!

Thank you for the pics and the site info, yes it is that pan! I also got the recommended pickup for it from milodon as well, so I should be good to go. I am runing 2in primaries on the motor so i figured it would be pretty tight even with a factory pan.

Does it have deacceleration doors in each side pod in addition to the 3 in the center? I thought they had actually 5 hinged doors.

yes it does take the stock dip stick, and the fitting on one side is for oil pressure, or temp,
but with headers there is no room for anything like that on my car so it has a threaded plug

What brand of headers are you running? Got any pictures showing how close it is?

My Milodon A engine pan fits terrible. About to chuck it. It's completely off at the front/back where the seals go.  Bet you could do it HP...    hey, what about those pans you were talkin' about having made? Not much response?    I'm about to try moroso.

There are probably 12-15 people interested in one, which would get the price down around $400, but Canton won't design it, I have to. Sooo, until I get time to actually crawl around under a car and take measurements and mock up dimensions, nothing is happening.

You can buy a u weld it road race sump kit from moroso for way less than what this pan ($350 without the pickup) costs. HP -send me a pm -

I have this pan on my car, and the only negatives are that the drain plug hits the centerlink at full lock (stock manual steering/stock length pitman and idler arms) and I had to take a 45 degree angle cut to the bottom of one of the k member motor mount brackets to drop the engine in from the top with the A/T in the car. Also, if you are using the milodon windage tray, make sure to dummy up the tray/pan and dipstick tube to make sure your dipstick clears the tray- mine took some massaging to make it work.
