    Door mirror gasket material between mirror and door skin

    Are some of the OEM gaskets made of rubber, and others made of plastic??   Which material holds up better??   thanks.

    I have NOS 71 originals. Rubber. Never seen plastic one's.

    Rubber only... No plastic for the mirrors.   :iagree:

    My origonal mirror gasket is very hard and could be mistaken for plastic.
