72-74 Challenger grill paint...what to use

What is everyone using to paint the grill and plastic valence opening piece on the 72-74 Challengers?  I've got a can of SEM Trim Black that I used for the rad and pinchweld blackout.  That paint seems really nice but I'm worried about it being too flat.  Those of you that are familiar with the SEM paint...is it too flat or is it close to the correct gloss for the grill.

Also, I've got a couple cans of the old Mopar Rallye wheel argent.(non textured)  I was thinking about using that for the silver accents on the leading edge of the grill and valence piece.  I think it would be close to the correct color.  What has everyone else used for that? 

I don't have access to a paint gun.  I'd like to do these myself with spray paints if I can get a good result that will last. Thanks

I've got a couple extra grills and was looking at them yesterday.  I've got one that looks like it was gray and had been painted black at some time.  The black is starting to flake off, exposing the gray plastic.  The other extra one I have is pretty rough.  Its got multiple gouges out of it.  That one looks to be black all the way through.

Maybe the Rallye grills weren't painted at all.  THey were just molded in black plastic and left that way.

The lower valence piece was painted.  It's molded in a tan plastic and was left bare on the under side.

If no one has any other suggestings, I'm going to try the SEM paint and see how it comes out.

My OE's are long gone....Satin Black is all I can imagine...

I'll have to dig out my original grill for my rallye and check the black on it.

My upper grill is molded in black but the lower piece is definatlly painted.  I'll try and get a pic.

I'm sure the plasic has faded a bit so I think I'll be painting it anyway.  After I clean it up I'll make the final decision.

Mine was what looked like silver argent from original. Was a 340/4spd non-Rallye car. So just stripped it clean with plastic stripper and repainted on argent.
