BB, we're trailoring ours up there because it's just too long of a drive (12 hours).  But once we're up there...we're driving her!!

12 hours is a long drive in any vehicle!
I can see that.

I guess I left out that all in all, I'm thinking 6 to 7 hours depending on what all happens. I figure a couple to 2-1/2 hours to get down to WSM and then buzz the balance across PA - so I'm thinking it won't be a drive the whole dang trip but broke up into "pit stops"

Hey Y'all,

Been a while, I know.  Just wanted to let y'all know that we are still planning on Carlisle again this year.  Last year was such a blast!!  But.........it looks like we will be coming without the car again unless some miracle occurs, which isn't too likely.  Can't wait to see everyone!!

I Talked to my wife today.
Showed her the map of PA. Hershey is very close.
She says she still has to think about it, but I think it's a go.  ;)
She will drive the Neon and take the kids to Hershey Park one or maybe two days.
While I go to the show with the Challenger.
I just can't get her interested in cars. I have tried.

Some women and men too can't be "turned"
I've been through.....

3 Big block Chryslers ( counting 1 red Challenger, who wouldn't love that? )
1 small block auto Cuda ( my brother's, of course )
1 pretty fast formula Firebird ( 350 with T-tops )
1 50 Chevy ( nostalgia, ya know )
2 different styles of Jeeps ( love taking the tops off! )
1 73 Nova ( good for burnouts, and if I broke it I didn't care )
And the above has just been somewhat recent as I've been trying to get her "into" cars.

And yet, still nothing "peaks" her interest. To say I've tried to find something she likes would be an understatement.
Between myself and my family, she has had the opportunity to see, ride and drive just about every era, style and type of muscle, collectable and vintage car known to man.
